Reagan’s 1st Birthday Party!!!

Reagan’s birthday falls on Labor Day Weekend. And even with it being a holiday, we were so blessed to have so many friends and family make it to celebrate her first birthday. Although I pinned my heart out on pinterest of all the things I wanted to (looking at your, balloon arch), I told myself I was keeping this simple and not stressful. So there was no theme. Just some cute colors, loads of balloons, and some good old fashioned Willy’s catering…birthday girl loves her some black beans, what can I say.

We held the party at Jerry & Selina’s pool and the one thing I did do was go to Target and get Reagan and the kids a new inflatable kiddie pool since she had outgrown her little baby pool. This one had a sprinkler, a slide, a giraffe (her fave)…and it was $16 at Target.

Having all these people gathered for her big day was so overwhelming for me as I was reminded how fleeting time really is. I looked around at friends who I’ve know for over half my life at this point. Friends who had their own babies this year, and those babies are growing too big…too fast on me. I looked at my little girl and could not believe I was now the parent of a one year old.

Thank you so much to Lamby Cakes Bakery for our delicious goodies and to our dear friend Katherine Allen for documenting the day so I could actually enjoy the party and not shoot!
